THE SELLING PROCESS

Selling a home can be an overwhelming and emotional experience. After all, these tend to be the places we've spent our lives, full of all kinds of great memories. To compound that, we're dealing with something that's one of your biggest assets, if not your very biggest. That's why it's important to have someone who understands not only the numbers side of the situation, but the emotional aspect as well.

Our job is to make this transition for you as seamless as possible, while maximizing the sale price for you. Isn't it nice to know that we'll be with you every step of the way?

Preparation

Some people are unsure when is the best time of year to list, while others may have time constraints from outside forces. It's important to have a discussion in regards to the best time to put your property on the market. I'll have some important questions for you, and I'm sure you'll have some for me.

After we've discussed timing, we'll determine and discuss possible listing strategies and arrive at a listing price. Although this may seem relatively easy, we pride ourselves on arriving at the right price for your home. List price is a huge factor in attracting the right buyers, and cannot be understated. But rest assured, the final decision always rests with YOU.

Finally, we'll discuss how to get your home ready for market. We want to make sure everything is in the perfect place, and really make sure your home shows well. However, there may be times when we tell you not to do certain things. The law of diminishing returns is very real in this industry. We wouldn't want you to waste money.

You're Ready to Hit the Market

So you've gotten everything prepared and you're ready to take on the challenge of selling your home. Congrats, because that's no small feat. You've reached an important step!

Your home will be marketed on the MLS system and Realtor.ca, which exposes it to hundreds of thousands of potential buyers, both locally and abroad. We'll discuss agent open houses, as well as public open houses, to see if they can be a valuable tool in the selling process.

Feature sheets are also personally designed, and crafted to catch the attention of prospective buyers. We take our time on this to make sure we're creating the perfect story to market your home.

We also partner ourselves with some of the best photographers and videographers this city has to offer. We can create a multimedia campaign that truly makes your home 'POP', and stand out from the competition.

During the course of the selling process, I'll keep you promptly informed on anything and everything involving the sale of your home. As part of a knowledgeable team, we can be available around the clock. You'll never be kept in the dark, and this allows us to act fast should any potential problem surface.

Whether you receive just a single offer, or lucky enough to receive a bidding war with multiple offers, you'll need someone to help guide you through the process. Our team has the experience, legal background, and the strategies to keep you ahead of the curve.

You'll never be pressured into selling at a price you are not comfortable with. You're the decision maker.  Our job is simply to give you the best and most relevant information and advice possible.

The Aftermath

Although the deal may be finished, our relationship sure isn't. I want to make sure you're truly satisfied, and that everything goes as smoothly as possible.
